HANDIBUS OPERATION

The Board of Directors is committed to providing a sustainable service that meets the needs of the community.

Our vehicles are adapted to the needs of people requiring assistance. We transport on a shared-ride basis to community supports I.e: medical appointments, local errands, etc) in the rural communities and to speacialists in Calgary .

Operating costs for transportation are covered by user fees, municipal grants, fee for service contracts and donations. Capital funding for new buses is raised through grant applications and donations. Each handibus is an investment of more than $160,000.

HOURS OF OPERATIONS

Handibus operates five days a week (7:30 am to 4:30 pm), with the exception of holidays. Office hours are from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
